Nia Sharpe
Nia brings over 13 years of experience across community services, including child protection, mental health, disability support, and family preservation. She has developed strong expertise in trauma-informed practice, risk and safety assessment, crisis intervention, and behaviour support, with a focus on supporting individuals and families experiencing complex needs.
Nia has completed extensive professional development in areas such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and strategies for working with challenging behaviours. She also holds a Diploma in Community Services.
Nia is passionate about building genuine, trusting relationships with the people she supports. She prioritises creating a safe, comfortable environment where individuals feel understood, respected & heard which allows individuals to connect & relate to her.
