Senior Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Supervisor

Melanie Rowe is a Senior Clinical Psychologist with around 20 years of experience working with adults across various settings, including community, hospital, and specialist mental health services in NSW. She has extensive experience supporting individuals experiencing complex mental health difficulties and is particularly passionate about providing thoughtful, high-quality clinical supervision.

Melanie provides supervision to psychologists, provisional psychologists, and other mental health professionals using a reflective practice approach, supporting clinicians to deepen clinical formulation, strengthen ethical decision-making, and develop confidence in their professional judgement. Her therapeutic work draws on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).

Alongside her work in adult mental health, Melanie has also worked in forensic and correctional settings, developing expertise in complex risk assessment and intervention. This experience informs her calm, analytical approach to clinical practice and supervision. She values collaborative, respectful work that supports both client wellbeing and clinician growth.
